AI Is Here To Stay, But That Doesn’t Mean You Should Get Left Behind
If you’re like me and spend way too much time online, you’ve probably heard the buzz surrounding new AI tools that have really disrupted the internet. Here are some crazy examples:
Nothing, Forever, an AI-powered Seinfeld spoof show on Twitch, became a hit sensation earlier this year (atleast until it made some transphobic remarks).
Streamers grinding on Twitch are losing out to AI Streamers creating react content to thousands of viewers.
And there is a high probability a few streamers in your circle are using AI-generated profile pictures of themselves instead of an actual photo.
AI is here and its only going to get better at whatever it is being tasked to do.
But what does that mean for you and other streamers creating content on platforms like Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok?
Well, on the bright side, it means there are plenty of new tools to use to improve your content or make something brand new!
On the other hand, if mishandled (which is basically guaranteed), AI can be extremely dangerous.
That is why I advocate for streamers to learn about AI and understand it as best as possible. The better we understand what AI is capable of, the better chance we have at using it ethically without harming others. The worst thing we can do is dismiss it and be ignorant of what it can do. There are many resources online, but if you would like me to curate some please let me know on Twitter!
