Donald Trump Squads Up With Adin Ross To Appeal To Gen-Z Voters

Last time Adin Ross announced he would be inviting a political figure on his live stream, it was North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un. That turned out to be fake. So I don’t think anyone was ACTUALLY expecting former president and convict Donald Trump to roll up from his Mar-a-Lago club.

If you aren’t familiar with Adin Ross, he was perma-banned from Twitch for ‘hateful conduct’. He has a history of homophobic and transphobic outbursts and has associated with white supremacists. He also has a weird obsession with Andrew Tate.

He is no stranger to controversy and has often used it to continue growing his fanbase. In fact, he earned a huge deal with Kick and has amassed 1.3M followers on the platform.

During the live stream, Adin Ross gifted trump a Rolex watch and a Cybertruck wrapped in the now infamous image of Trump after his brush with an assassination attempt. Trump was very pleased with his gifts, but I doubt he’ll keep them. Someone should have told Adin its illegal to give gifts of high value to federal candidates.

Adin also spent the live stream teaching Trump about the world of streaming, teaching him streamer terms like “W”, hanging out with fellow Kick streamer xQc, and listening to music in the Cybertruck.

The whole event was very surreal and had me question my reality.

The live stream ended within two hours with a peak viewership of 580K and became the third most concurrently viewed livestream on Kick this year.

The publicity stunt is an obvious bid by Trump to appeal to young people who watch Adin Ross. During the live stream, Trump even revealed that his son Barron had actually encourage him to appear on Adin’s stream. It is true that Adin is popular amongst conservatives, so we’ll see if this has any effect on Trump’s campaign.
