Say goodbye to E3…again!

The Entertainment Software Association (ESA) just announced that they're cancelling E3 2023. This would have been the first time in four years that we could attend in person, but the ESA explained in an email that the event “simply did not garner the sustained interest necessary to execute it in a way that would showcase the size, strength, and impact of our industry.”

Honestly, it's not really a surprise that E3 got the ax. Playstation, XBox, Ubisoft, and SEGA all said they weren't going to be there, choosing to focus on their own events instead. Not only that, but the blow it took from the Pandemic made it an even more difficult event to pull off. It's a bummer, but it was pretty clear that this was the way things were heading.
